Rollys Royce have pulled their latest advert which featured rapper Skepta due to complaints about him not wearing a seatbelt. The ad showed the rapper and his friend being chauffeured around the alps whilst producing a track.
The Advert was withdrawn following the response from road safety campaigners, including comments from the president of the AA. He even used Skepta’s own lyrics against him saying ‘’Perhaps Skepta, the great grime artist, should listen to his own song - It Ain’t Safe - before rapping in the back of a Rolls-Royce, apparently not wearing a seatbelt,". Skepta’s only response was via twitter, where he posted an image of a fastened seatbelt captioned with a lightbulb emoji.
In other news, the rapper has released a psychedelic new music video for ‘Ghost ride’ his most recent track featuring American artist A$AP Rocky and A$AP Nast.
